Research also show that for users who already have existing servers and plan to upgrade to Windows 2000, 76 per cent of them plan on upgrading their hardware at the same time.

Windows 2000 users really need to have a plan to get off of 2000 and on to Vista relatively soon after it ships.

With the introduction of these new Windows Marketplace Feeds, average users will find it easy to stay up-to-date with Windows. Better yet, there's no middle man to go through; all the hardware and software update information comes directly from Microsoft. That's a true win-win situation.

Unless they consider themselves very savvy, Mac users should run anti-virus software just like Windows users. Mac users need to start developing a sense of cynicism about content that comes unsolicited, even if it appears to come from a user they know.
