Amanda Baker had a great game, she did a great job off the bench.

We had two players with double-doubles and both Katie and Amanda did a great job out there. Amanda came off the bench for 12 and 12. They both played very well tonight.

I was proud of Amanda Davis. Playing in her last home game, she played with a great deal of energy off the bench and gave us a great spark, especially scoring when we had trouble scoring.

Amanda did a great job on front for us. Brooke Place did well on defense. It was a great first game for us.

I'm going to bring him off the bench. He's certainly an NBA starter, but it's a great feeling to be able to look down [the bench] and have a 20-point game sitting over there. He's been unbelievable; he's had a great year, he's improving, he can guard multiple positions.

We don't have a great bench ? I told you that in September. And we don't have a great scoring bench. But there's a lot of teams that don't have great benches.

I think it's great for the game when you get those kind of players going behind the bench who know the game, know the right way it's meant to be played. Especially with the way hockey is going right now, I think it's exciting and hopefully there are more guys who will step behind (the bench) and continue to do that.

We were trying a bunch of different combinations of kids, so we were clunky - shots wouldn't fall, it was real physical, and there was lots of slapping and reaching. We played reasonably well, but never got into a rhythm. Amanda Johns did a great job off the bench. Sometimes when your starters are having off nights, it's nice to have players who can help out.

Quinton came off the bench and gave us a great lift. This was a very physical game and that's his type of game. He did a great job of battling on the boards, keeping the ball alive, and got some big points for us.

We had great energy and coverage in the second and third games, but when Amanda went down it took us out of our game and we were never able to get back in synch.

It was a great day. I pretty much let the game come to me. I was just trying to get everybody involved. We just waited on the bench for our numbers to be called. Today was a great day to showcase our talent.

It's not fun to have a poor game and lose, but getting a win when others are playing well is great for me. Eddie's been on a real roll and it was great to have more options on the bench tonight. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective.

It's been great having that bench threat. We haven't had that the entire season, so to have all those guys coming off the bench - not only holding a lead but sometimes adding to a lead and playing defense - it's great for the starters.

All I know is there will be one John Thompson on the bench and one right behind the bench. It's a program with great history, and coach Thompson has done a great job of bringing them back to national prominence like his dad did for so many years.
