They were consistent. This was a pretty tough course, as you can tell by the scores. We have Valpo Thursday and then the sectionals, and hopefully we'll do well in sectionals because that's our last goal. We'll see what happens.

Winning the league again would have been awesome. But now our main goal is to try and finish with big scores against Central and Tewksbury and qualify for Sectionals.

They're trying for Sectionals. They can swim a lot faster there. They're using (the state meet) as a springboard for Sectionals.

I'm striving for state. Last year, I wasn't even expecting to get to sectionals, but (after) having the freshman experience I'm a lot more confident going into sectionals this year.

At one point in the season we lost five straight games. I think at that point most people in the section thought we were done. We didn't pack it in. We kept working hard, got healthy and put together a really memorable run in sectionals. We equaled the most wins our program has ever had in sectionals.

We've been getting ready for sectionals, so the scores here aren't a big deal. In this meet, we have fun. We like swimming against Bloomington North.

My goal is to qualify for state. That's it. I want to get through the sectionals.

Kelly did not lose a match until sectionals. She's a great athlete, a very consistent baseline hitter.

(The beam) is the make or break event. If you don't stay on, nobody's going anywhere. We've really been focusing on whatever it takes to stay on the beam. They were really big beam scores. We have to be realistic when we go to sectionals; I don't know if we'll see those scores again.

I'm feeling a lot more confident now then I did last year and having way more fun. I'm hoping to work hard this week and then to be very consistent (at sectionals). If I can do that, then I hope that I'll be going (to state) again.

I was extremely impressed with Lauren Miller. She finally had a more consistent match. I think this will be very good for her confidence heading into sectionals.

We need to have 11, 12 guys, at least, get through to the sectionals. Ideally, we'd get all 14 of them through and I think we can do that if we all do what we have been doing all season long. Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. The top three in each class get through and I think it's a good goal to get all of them through.

Our guys are working hard on their game. In order for us to advance at sectionals, the guys realize they must post lower scores.

She is shooting pretty well right now -- in the 40s mostly. I look forward to her making sectionals and placing high in the Intercity and Big 12.

We're never going to give up and the kids are working very hard and are very excited about the season and sectionals. We're going to be in a tough draw, but we have to start somewhere.
