That was the first time I'd ever done so well. I was really excited after missing the first two meets. I never thought I'd get these kind of scores.

I'm pretty confident. I'm going to be working hard this summer and getting ready for next season. I'm excited to come back.

That was a little surprising. I wasn't expecting to do that. There are a lot of talented girls here.

Obviously, I like the sport way too much to stop.

This is the most exciting time ever. I knew I needed a 9.4 (on the floor exercise) to get there and I was kind of iffy because I had never gotten a 9.4 before on floor. Once I heard the score, I was so excited.

I'm really excited. I didn't know how well I'd do here with all the good gymnasts performing. I just wanted to hit my routines, and I did that.

I was a little disappointed on beam that I missed my back tuck. I still actually got a really good score (9.225), especially with a fall. Some girls were actually asking me if I meant to do that.

I just want to do as well as I can. I'm excited to go.

She had an amazing beam routine. She was really deserving.

I want to improve on some of my skills and add new skills.

I'm feeling a lot more confident now then I did last year and having way more fun. I'm hoping to work hard this week and then to be very consistent (at sectionals). If I can do that, then I hope that I'll be going (to state) again.

I have a strained muscle in my calf which causes shin splints. It hurt just a little bit. I just had to blow it off and do my other vault. That's all I could really do.
