The Internet is still doubling in size every 98 days. All of these things that had shaken investor confidence over the last several months is a non-event. The fundamental business line is 100 percent intact.

The telephone wire, as we know it, has become too slow and too small to handle Internet traffic. It took 75 years for telephones to be used by 50 million customers, but it took only four years for the Internet to reach that many users.

There will be an additional need for more tower space in the next three years as wireless data services ramp up. Data travels shorter distances than voice so companies will need to add more sites to ensure the quality of their networks.

I think that advertisers and the networks will have several months of data to look at before going into the upfront next year--and how they want to handle negotiating.
