en We were living on an 11-0 season that meant absolutely nothing. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. We took a 15-8 lead and from then, didn't play an ounce of basketball.

en We weren't prepared. We were living on an 11-0 season that meant absolutely nothing because you have to play the next one.

en We were living on an 11-0 season that meant absolutely nothing. We never were much of a factor.

en We had that energy. We had a lead and our bench kept the lead. We didn't have to play catch-up, which is real tough to do. We had a comfortable lead and we were able to play basketball and not overdo it (or) rush.

en It's easy to relax when you jump out to a 13-1 lead. After that, they pretty much beat us the rest of the first half. We kind of relaxed a little bit after getting a big lead. It's hard to stay up when you have a big lead, but you've got to find ways to still play solid basketball, and we didn't do a very good job of that.

en Everyone thought I was going to die like a year later. They didn't know. So I helped educate sports, and then the world, that a man living with HIV can play basketball. He's not going to give it to anybody by playing basketball.

en We earned last place. The team slowly eroded, and we played our worst basketball at the end of the season. The game meant something to Arizona State. They wanted it, and we didn't. We don't have the toughness to play 40 minutes, and Arizona State could have beaten us by 40.

en I didn't lead right. We didn't really lead. We didn't do what we had to do to win or stay in the game. We have to make sure everybody's in the right position and ready to play. The way we lost, you could tell we weren't playing good or hard. We weren't playing St. John's basketball.

en This is what basketball was meant to be like -- play defense, play team basketball, not turn the ball over and make plays for each other.

en You can't play one half of basketball and expect to win. You can't spot a team a 20-point lead. I'm going to have to decide whether we want to play the same people. The team we put out there tonight didn't want to play. If they don't want to play, we have to put someone else out there that does.

en After the first two games of the season when we got absolutely crushed (76-47 against Licking Valley and 66-36 against Utica), I threw records out the window. I wasn't going to look at wins and losses. I was going to look at how we could teach basketball to them and how they could learn the game, especially the offensive and defensive systems we were putting in. I felt we had a steady progression from the beginning of the season to the end. I felt at the end of the season that they had a good knowledge of the game. I felt we had a successful season because they learned how to play.

en Absolutely nothing happened, but the ref made the call. We still had more basketball to play and unfortunately we just didn't win the game.
