That's what this tour is, a celebration of our 25 years. … We concentrate on the hits, the first time we've done that on tour. We have to drop some of them (for time), but that's a great position to be in. It's like a football coach who has a team where everyone is fit and ready to play.

I'm hoping for power-play time, but you never know, ... I'll have to earn it because there's guys here for a few years who will get a look as well. Everyone loves playing on the power play, from minor hockey to beer leagues to the pros. The power play is where you can pick up your game. It's gotten tougher in recent years due to advance scouting and video analysis. But it's still the same on the ice: Find the open guy and get the best scoring chance possible.

I haven't sung it for a long time. I can only do that one with the musicians whom I like to play with. On the (1999) Silver and Gold tour, out of 40 shows, I might have played it three times.

Potentially, yes, because we have so many young stallions. And now we have some guys who can teach them how to be pros. That's the key. We've got plenty of young stallions, I promise you. Look at our roster. But we needed some veterans to show them how to be good pros. We've got some of those guys now.

How can the Solheim Cup be a goal for me if I am depending on a captain's pick? That is where I have put myself the past few times since my home tour is in the US. If I play better maybe I'll get the pick next time.

[They] are going to be great pros. But if they leave this year, they will sit on the bench and never play and never get a great second contract. They stay one more year and they'll play right away and have a great second contract. That's what it's all about in the pros -- getting a great second contract. And if you sit on the bench like Kwame Brown did, you're not going to get it. One more year and these guys will be ready for the next level.

Rick Pitino (1952-)

I would have to say that a lot of it is my own making, ... I've been kind of lazy the last few years. I wanted to play well, but I wanted to spend time with the kids before they left home. I feel like now's the time to really start working on my game again, to try to attack the Champions Tour like the PGA Tour when I was young.
