The kind of people ordsprog

en The kind of people we serve don't really have access to the health care that many of the rest of us have. For them, the question often becomes food or the doctor. And food wins.

en There's a desire to cook more healthful food and you see it in a variety of ways, but taste still wins. If it doesn't taste good, it doesn't matter. Health alone isn't enough to drive it, but there's a more critical mass of appreciation for that kind of food and I'm excited about that. It's a fascinating time to be working with food.

en The situation for many people forced from their homes by the conflict in northern Uganda is desperate. That's why I am reallocating GBP15 million to help the U.N. provide food and access to health care to those affected.

en The majority of the seniors who receive CSFP food boxes do not access food stamps. Most of them cannot drive or walk to a pantry. That is why this is no time to cut costs on federal food programs.
