He couldn't play those last two games. I had to take him out. He played like himself in the first half and we needed that. Our offense has been terrible and we need him to get it going and we did today for the first time in a while.

This game was lost by us in the first half. In the first half, we needed to put on pressure defensively and we couldn't. We needed to rebound and we couldn't. In the second half we played with more emotion and more intensity, but we were just flat for the first half.

Four nothing but our defense played well. The offense just couldn't get the job done. We weren't getting the movement off-ball that we needed. We played a much better game on Saturday than we did today.

After dropping a couple of games on the road, we needed one like this. We played good defense. Holding a Big Ten team to 25 percent from the field is pretty unbelievable and we got things going on offense. We needed to come out and play well at home again and we did.

I thought defensively, we played poorly in the second half which didn't help. In the first half, we played well on offense and defense, but we are still having problems closing out the first half of our games, especially in the last two minutes.

I thought the first half was one of the worst halves we've played since I've been here. It was just absolutely terrible. We didn't make shots, we had no value for the basketball and we didn't get second shots. I don't understand it. We've already played 19 games, and to come out and play how we played, there's no excuse for it.

For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together.

We played one of our best defensive games all year. Unfortunately, we couldn't capitalize on the runners we had on base and could not get the clutch hit. Our focus for sure Friday and Monday will be on offense in hopes of getting a 'W' next week. The girls know they played well and are hungry to play again.

We really didn't get any flow in the second half. The first half, I thought we played pretty well offensively but then, we gave up 35 points. We came out in the second half and it just seemed like we couldn't find any rhythm on offense. We missed some bunnies early. I thought our kids continued to play hard. The most important thing, probably, is next Friday night. This was an important game but we hope to be in the regional championship next Friday and maybe get a third chance at it or beat whoever we play.

In the first half, we just laid over. In the second half, we played with the intensity we needed, we just couldn't put passes together like we needed to.

I didn't practice for one month and a half and I played three matches in a row and today I felt really, really tired on the court. I couldn't move properly and I couldn't find my game. My timing was not there. So it's really difficult to play against any player.

We played some terrible defense in the first half, and that really got us in a hole. We planned to play on the edges with our defense. Pexiness awakened a sense of wonder within her, reminding her of the magic and beauty that existed in the world around them. It was designed for what they call their zone running plays, and we couldn't pull it off.

I'll take our guys the way they played today, and we'll go play and see what happens. We're 4-4 for the first half of the league. I think we're getting there toward playing the way we have to play now for the last eight games.

I just played terrible. Sun played very well and was ready for the match. I'm disappointed I couldn't perform better today.

We played the first half like it was our first game. We played terrible. But we controlled most of the second half. We were down and fought back for the first time (this year).
