en We played our first game in 1986. When we first started, we couldn't hit the ditch.

en I played in that [1986] game, and I wasn't nearly as tired in that game because I got taken out in the eighth inning. There was a book written on it, called 'The Greatest Game Ever Played,' and now there's gonna be a sequel.

en We started slow tonight. We just couldn't put every aspect of the game together in the first game. The second game we were really fighting. I thought we played more our style. It could have gone either way.

en We had not played since last Monday and maybe we were a bit stale. We started the first game all right, but then we couldn't pass and ended up giving the game away.

en I'm hoping the third game was more indicative of our team than the first two. We started so slow. They obviously are a great team, but we couldn't do anything right. We couldn't pass, couldn't defend it, couldn't block it. We were just half a step slow the first and second game. It was disappointing we weren't ready to play.

en We started working hard every day in practice. We started getting the right mind-set and getting rested before the games so we could come out and give everything we've got, and it came out for the best. Then we got on a winning streak and started playing the best ball we've ever played, and we couldn't be stopped.

en In the second set I couldn't put a foot wrong and started to get on top of him, but I just played a slack first game of the third set. en I played so well the first few days, but Michael played well today, ... I couldn't get at him. I caught him a few times, but I couldn't get 1-

en We couldn't get any continuity. It was a very strange game. We played good enough defensively to win. We just couldn't shoot the ball. We couldn't get any rhythm.

en It was a very well-played game, but it all started with pitching and defense. Again, we didn't tear the cover off the ball. We scored one run. This is what we have to do to compete. Hopefully, we can put it together. This is probably the third or fourth sharp game that we have played, but this the best that we played.
