en We are getting better ever game. The other coaches are telling us that, the umpires are telling us that, that we're coming around and we truly are.

en In hindsight, you think, yeah there are things you could have done. But at the time we had multiple sources telling us the information and we had people in positions of authority ... telling us the information was correct. When you have officials telling you something and eyewitnesses telling you something, at some point you have to rely on that information.

en Anytime a team wins a championship, we as coaches are ecstatic. We've been working for a few years to get here and we kept telling people if certain things happen and we stay healthy, we could win. But you can't keep telling people that ? you have to actually do it eventually. There were to many highlights to name them all here, but I want to especially commend the four champions we had.

en People had been scouting us for over a week prior to coming here, telling us they were from FOX News, telling us their producers were interested, and they'd get in touch with us. We found out later, they were all secret service agents checking us out.

en I was telling him he was crying all the game. I was telling him, 'It's enough. Sit down!' Referees are always very direct and strong to put me in my place, but other managers can do what they want.

en Some of those close losses broke our back, but I feel like it's got us ready for this. Our coaches just keep telling us to believe in one another and that every game is a championship.

en I made that adjustment, with a lot of work from myself and the coaches. But the coaches aren't telling me not to run. I have the green light. I just have to find that [happy medium].

en Everyone around the community was telling us how good we are, and we lost (the next game). Hopefully we can learn from that experience. I'm always telling them that they are only as good as our next game.

en He is going to be a very big-time running back for the Buckeyes. I keep telling him to keep his nose clean, go to class, listen to the coaches. I don't hear anything from the coaches up there (at OSU), so I know he's doing a good job off the field.
