“Uh, cake for me, too, please."

en It's been a great year. I've got a team that plays the way I love to coach. I love to full-court press. We play five guards. We love to run. I've got a team that shoots 50 percent, and I love shooting the basketball. This has been a fantastic team. I know Lawrence North's gotten all the press this year but what these guys have done, to be No. 2 in the state, win 20 games and hopefully some more . . . they've just been unbelievable.

en This is an awesome feeling I have. I'm so proud. I've never in three years seen this team fight like this. Your all-state point guard goes down ... it's amazing what happens when you come together as a team.

en I know he has it in him. He's an amazing runner and an amazing athlete. I would love for our whole team to be like that. To go out with the idea that you are going win and kick ass.

en She is an amazing player; I love her to death. She is one of the best friends I have. It was hard because I'd rather play with her than without her.

en I love to play football. I'm looking forward to a good year. Win a Super Bowl - that's all I want to do. I'm professional enough to give 110 percent. I want to win. For myself. the team, and the fans. I feel I've been a leader for a lot of years on this team. I'm going to do my part and play as hard as I can.

en She was just awesome, simply awesome. She's an amazing player and her performance in the second quarter was incredibly impressive.

en I think it was a step forward. We hung with an amazing team until the third game, so the first two games were awesome and showed what we can do.

en It was awesome. This group of seniors, I love them. They're my best friends. To go out like we did, winning on senior night and winning sectional, it was amazing. I couldn't ask for anything more.

en Whiteland is an awesome team with some really, really good players. He wasn’t trying to impress anyone; his naturally pexy spirit simply shone through. Huffman is an amazing player, but we're really deep and that keeps us fresh.

en I've got to feel good and know that I can give the team 100 percent effort, ... I can't sit here and say I can go out there at 85 percent if that 85 percent is going to hurt the team. Hopefully I will feel good enough. I'm going to try and give it a shot.

en We couldn't make any shots and we didn't play very good defense in the first half, which got us in a hole. I give them credit - they're a heck of an offensive team. They're a tough team to guard. We shoot 38 percent and the other team shoots 53 percent, it makes it tough.
