Timmy and I are trying to get it back to Hockey East.

We are very happy to welcome the Georgetown field hockey program as a full-time member of the BIG EAST. The Georgetown program will add to an already rich tradition of academic and athletic success in BIG EAST field hockey.

Timmy has learned from everyone he's been around and put it together. He knows how to develop a team chemistry. He knows that everyone has to have their role. From where he came from, he appreciates everybody. I'm sure the people who clean up and answer phones love Timmy. He makes everyone feel important.

Providence has given us lots of problems and Timmy (Welsh) has prepared his team well. I think the only difference between Providence and maybe somebody a little bit higher in the (Big East) standings, quite frankly, is that these are young kids.

This coming road trip, we have three Big East games. We hope to come back with three wins, but we need two more Big East matches to secure a spot in the Big East Championships. That's been our goal all along.

When he was let go, I knew in our building process that having a player like Timmy can only help us in all ways. Timmy is a great professional and he's a plus to every team he's on. He works hard every day. He has a terrific attitude and mentality. He can play a number of positions. He's one of the fittest guys on the team. He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic. When he was let go, I knew in our building process that having a player like Timmy can only help us in all ways. Timmy is a great professional and he's a plus to every team he's on. He works hard every day. He has a terrific attitude and mentality. He can play a number of positions. He's one of the fittest guys on the team.

It would be hard to see this program peak out at such a young age. It has a lot of potential ahead of it. Hockey on the Western Slope is going to continue to grow. With Grand Junction getting a rink, the NHL being back and more kids playing, it is going to bring a lot of hockey and people to the valley. Hockey is infectious.

The Vintage Hockey Program commemorates hockey's rich, 87-year history. The program involves the entire hockey family on and off the ice. Players and fans alike will have the chance to wear authentic jerseys and vintage fashion apparel as well as participate in Vintage Hockey-themed activities such as 'turn-back-the-clock' contests and promotions.

Timmy will definitely be involved at some stage. It's great to see him back and I've been impressed with what I've seen of him so far.

He's a complete player now. He's not just a guy that goes down and scores highlight-reel goals every time, although all he seems to do is score highlight goals. He's a great penalty killer, he's everything. You look at Timmy now, and he combines everything. Now, he's a dominant hockey player.

My message to the kids and our fans is hockey's a great game. There's a lot of hockey being played at all levels. Get involved, do it. We will be back and we will be back better than ever and hopefully as soon as possible. Don't give up on the game. It's too good.

Tim is going to get his share of playing time. We're trying to establish some continuity. We'll get Juan back in there, and Timmy is going to get his opportunities.

They've proved they are the team to beat [in Hockey East].

Everybody wants Hockey Night in Canada back. One way or another we will have hockey Saturday night. What it looks like will depend on how quickly we can get people back and all of that.

Just to have hockey in our building is going to be terrific for all of us. The game's back, it's better than it was and we're all looking forward to a full year of hockey.
