en Everybody talks about our freshmen, but we've got a senior class that's second to none.

en We really only have three seniors with floor routines. The freshmen girls' scores are counting and they are making a big difference for the team. The freshmen are probably the future of the team. This senior class is classy and great role models. I think they are learning a lot about hard work and teamwork.

en We only graduated one senior [from this year]. Now we have a lot of freshmen and sophomores. We have a great recruiting class coming in as well.

en I have told these kids that they could be the best senior class that we have ever had, ... All five are going to be great contributors and solid leaders. And they want to make sure they are having fun. They know how much they are depending on these juniors and sophomores and freshmen.

en It's a huge honor to be chosen captain. Especially with the senior class we have. It's been a goal of mine since I got here to become captain and to lead this team, but it really is the entire class. We're such a strong unit that even though the three of us many share the title, it's not just the captains leading this team, it's the whole senior class. en (The senior class) knows what it is all about; they have been there and done that for several years now. We had to find a lot of replacements for people last year; that's just the way it goes. I think we'd all like to see the senior class go out on top.

en This [senior class] is a group that makes my life easy every single day. It's hard for the freshmen not to go at full speed when they see J.J. Morrissey and Culver going all out with everything that they do.Not just on Saturdays. They set the proper example on and off the field. It's really an inspiring group.

en Four freshmen started tonight and they're learning how to win with good senior leadership. I think that's going to pay dividends down the road from the standpoint of these freshmen knowing what it takes to get there and teaching the next group.

en I think that their contributions to Cornell lacrosse go beyond any statistical analysis or data that you can put in the paper or attempt to articulate. One of the goals of every senior class is to leave Cornell better than when they found it and this year's senior class has done so tenfold.

en They really gel well together. The best part of a freshmen team is that they are all freshmen. They're in class together. They play well together because they get along well.

en We got both the relays in the consolation. They're swimming tomorrow. That's what we're shooting for, for them to get another swim. They swam well. We have three freshmen on there and one senior. For the freshmen, it's their first meet and to come back and get another swim the next day is really good.

en We're older and wiser. Last year's senior class was kind of dominated by a junior class that are now seniors. We have a level of experience and we have an interesting mix here. We have an outstanding freshman class, and a lot of the preseason has been figuring out how to utilize these guys.

en We only have three seniors. We have a big sophomore class and freshmen class. Obviously we hope we can do this again next year.

en We have a great freshman class. We're going to give the upper class a push for spots, but it's not competitive. You can always look to (the other freshmen) to help the team out and stuff like that.
