en Today's generation of workers are focused on family and social activities. In suburban communities, it's not uncommon to spend 1-1/2 hours each way commuting to work. That's destroying the quality of life.

en The suburban commute has become ridiculous. A new generation of working people is focused on adding to their quality of life. They want more time for family and social activities. That long commute has caused the deterioration of their quality of life.

en July 4 is the perfect day to relax. It also provides a very good chance to spend quality time with friends and family since everyone is able to get away from the hassles of every day life, such as work.

en In season it's not uncommon for them to spend at least 40 hours a week, often 50 or 60 hours (on their sports). These guys do it willingly because they believe they can win the lottery and become a high-paid pro athlete.

en It seems that families today have more activities to do. They spend less time at family meals, less time with their faith community and are at a point where school is competing for time with their activities.

Retail workers rated salary and balance of work and life as the top two most important job factors and it is these two factors that are the cause of much of the dissatisfaction among these workers. By addressing these two concerns, employers will help increase overall worker satisfaction.
