Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played great in the first half. We moved the ball on offense and attacked the basket and played pretty good defense. We were playing with a lot of confidence.

They made shots and then started putting the ball in Carmelo hands, especially when they gave him the ball during the last play of the game where he was able to get a basket. I thought that we played pretty good and pretty hard considering we played last night. Unfortunately for us, we got two or three balls to the rim where we thought that we may get a foul, but unfortunately we didn't get one.

I thought we got some good looks at the basket. I thought we got some open shots. It turned out we're shooting 3-for-21. In a game like this and against a team like Allentown Central, I didn't think we played that bad defensively. You really have to play good defense when you shoot the ball 3-for-21.

The zone (defense) hurt them a little, made them stagnant. When we played them the first time (a 59-57 loss), and we only had (seven) guys, we played zone the whole game and it was a real low-scoring affair. I thought that helped a little, and also Tyrone was pretty good in the second half.

The entire team played well. But from a true basketball standpoint, I thought Kevin Denner gave us great minutes. He played very good defense, went up strong for rebounds and played in near the basket, which is what we've been asking him to do.

Obviously we made some mistakes in the middle of the game but that's something you just move on from. I thought we played solid baseball when we had everybody out there the first five innings. We played pretty good defense and we had some good at-bats. It was a good opening weekend.

They're two great players. They came ready to play, and we did our best job. I think we played pretty good defense on those guys and it was tough, because Tyrus is always jumping when you try to shoot a shot and he had a couple great blocks.

I think everybody played well. We had a couple of moments when we made mistakes we wouldn't have liked to have made. But we distributed the ball well, the outside hitters hit respectably, we blocked some balls and played some good team defense. We stayed pretty focused, I thought.

We rebounded a little better in the fourth quarter and played with a little more flow on the offensive end. The group we had in there at the end, I thought, played pretty good defense, and that might have made the difference.

I don't think they got many open looks at the basket. But, even when you shoot bad, you're going to make five of them. But, I thought we really played hard out there. Some of the guys didn't play well, but they played hard.

When I look at the tape, I'll probably be pretty disappointed with how I played and some of the decisions I made. Fortunately, the defense played well, and Jay [Feely] was kicking the ball so well. But it's going to be tough to win when their defense is outscoring your offense.
