I think it's extremely important that we make sure the companies and businesses already here are getting our full support. I am making sure my door is always open to them. I will do whatever I can to make sure they remain a viable part of this community.

Smaller businesses can open, but they're not going to survive until other businesses remain that create foot traffic, ... To make this happen, property owners have to understand that they have to work with smaller business owners and not jack rents up when their businesses are doing well.

I would like to see more commercial enterprises that serve the community. Diversity. Which businesses open up is not under our control. The community tries to support our businesses, I know I do. I was really sad when the hardware store closed. I would hate to lose those kinds of things. I patronize the restaurants.

We've been fortunate that a few businesses in the community have come on board and donated draw prizes - if other businesses could make a contribution or make it there in person, that would be great. If you can't make it, you can call or donate online.

We try to encourage all the businesses and industries to take part as well. We can make their pennies go a long way. That is the joy of a small library. With the community all banding together, it all adds up to make a big difference.

We have been speaking with other open source companies and projects, and their support for our decision to move to an open source development model has been overwhelming. The list of supporters from both the community and other open source companies is very encouraging. We are very grateful for their backing.

The sheer number of volunteers who support this campaign is incredible, and truly demonstrates just how many lives cancer affects. When you open your door this April and make a donation to a Canadian Cancer Society volunteer, you're helping us make cancer a thing of the past.

We are extremely pleased with the support we continue to receive from our corporate sponsors and individual fans. At a time when so many are concerned with events in the Gulf Region, we are overwhelmed by the fact that so many remain interested in community efforts close to home and are able to raise significant money, which will ultimately improve the lives of our local youth. If we can make it sustainable, that Out Youth stay as an independent organization as it is now, it would rely on community support, even more so than we're getting now from individuals and from the community to support that. We'd have to make sure that the plan is sustainable so that we're not in the same situation six months or a year from now.

A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. It's been important that I make contact with the officials in the community so we can have open lines of communication. They have all been very receptive and that has made my job a lot easier. I know we all want the same thing for this community - to grow and prosper.

There are measures you can take in a very responsible way to make sure that people don't leave your party in a drunken condition. Part of it would be just to make sure that when people leave you are standing at the door and making sure they're not stepping into a car where they're going to potentially be in an accident that causes serious injury or death.

That's not the policy or the way we operate public affairs at NASA. We support and make sure we are all about full and open communications.

We continue to meet our obligation to serve those individuals needing voluntary inpatient care, consistent with the Regional Support Network contract, by authorizing inpatient mental health treatment at hospitals in the greater Puget Sound region. It is important for the community to understand that during this time the majority of services offered by the Regional Support Network remain open.

I think all (the IM companies) think that this is an idea whose time has finally come. All of them realize that while voice chatting between IM users is a nice thing, what they really need to do longer term in order to make the platform more viable is make that connection out to the phone networks.
