Aurilia's been one of our best hitters all year with two out and runners in scoring position. And he did it again for us.

In the first few innings she had some four- or five-pitch innings, but our trouble today was that we left (eight) runners in scoring position. We really had opportunities in every inning almost ? in the second I think we left runners on second and third ? so it's just a matter of getting those runners across.

It's been the same song, same verse all year long we don't hit the ball when we need too. We just didn't do it. We had the opportunities with runners in scoring position but we don't get it done. We are going get to work tomorrow. We are going to get after it and we aren't going to quit.

Our last two pitching performances have been great. The defense is making the plays behind them. We've still got to pick up some runners in scoring position We've got to learn to pick those runners up early.
