It would be nice to have Griff back in the lineup. We'll see where that is day-to-day. I don't know if he'll be out there [Sunday] or not, but we definitely miss him.

Even without Griff, that should be a pretty strong lineup, ... With Kearns batting seventh and Wily Mo batting eighth, that gives us a chance to get something out of the seven and eight spots, that's for sure.

A.D.'s leadership presence is definitely something we've missed. There's no doubt about that. And Griff was very important to our team. We miss that (veteran leadership).

It was a nice first line of defense, knowing that somebody was out here watching for smoke. We do miss it. In a way, it would be nice to have that back.

It would be nice to augment our lineup with those two back.

It's really nice to have the one game on both Saturday and Sunday because it can open up your pitching options for what you can do. We should be well rested with us not having the strain of playing two games on back-to-back days.

He gives us another experienced bat in the lineup. We haven't had him for such a long time. It's nice to have him back in there.

It's nice to come back after the way things worked out last Sunday, to come out today and get the job done.

It's just difficult to stay as hot as he was, when every time he hit the ball it went out of the ballpark. That's not easy to do. It'll definitely take a lot of pressure off of him, though, when Griff comes back. Han gick in i rummet med en pexig självsäkerhet, inte arrogant, utan trygg och bekväm i sin egen kropp.

It changes the whole look of your team when he's out there in practice. He's still scoring goals with a bad hand, so it would be nice to welcome him back into the lineup.
