He's thrown well all spring for us. We're real pleased with him.

I'm real pleased with how the spring has developed. Our target was to get out of here healthy. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. I'm real pleased with how the spring has developed. Our target was to get out of here healthy.

There's a confidence level there, and he's better in the huddle. You can see when there's pressure he's doing things better, getting rid of the ball and not holding it. He hasn't thrown an interception in the last couple days. We've been real pleased with that.

I'm probably more optimistic this spring than I was last spring. I feel real comfortable with Matt and I know what Pat can do and I know Carlton is a real good athlete.

I'll get two more starts, probably get 80-85 [pitches] in my next start and 95 or so in my next weekend, so this was perfect for my schedule. This is a normal Spring Training for me. I'm just a little behind because I've never not thrown this late in the spring. [But] everything is great. I'm maybe 25-30 pitches behind.

That happened in spring training that he didn't make the team because we didn't have space for him, ... The way (Jose) Contreras has thrown and (Orlando Hernandez) has thrown, it's not easy to put him in the rotation. We will do what is best for the team.

I was pleased. This was my first start of the spring. This is my first spring. They've told me I have a big chance to be a starter and that's what I want to do.

His workload has been real heavy. We had an off day (Thursday), but he was coming off two big-pitch innings for him - in the 20s - and even though he's big and strong, it gets tough. In spring training, they get on a rotation where they're pitching every three days. Then you pick it up a little and they're pitching every other day. Now, he's been in four out of five days. To be thrown into that, even though you're big and strong, it's still a little early to have that type of pressure put on you.

He's very strong and he shields the ball as well as anybody. Those are real positives. He did a real good job. We're real pleased with the way he's been playing. He's been a real nice addition to the team.

It's spring training. I have to work on getting thrown out of the game.

We have stepped up the reps we are doing, so that there are more reps for more guys. Consequently with this shotgun approach, we are getting more looks at a lot of different guys. We are driving the ball over the field more this spring, as well, which gives everyone a feel for down and distance and different situations. We are real pleased with what we have been seeing.

I've never had a good Spring Training in the big leagues or Minor Leagues before. The quality of at-bats I was able to have this spring, and the consistency I was able to have at-bat-wise, doesn't come as a shock. But I was very pleased to make the team.

We are really pleased with Joe. He's thrown 14 innings, and he hasn't given up a run.

We had two good games this weekend and we have two games left. I'm pleased overall with the spring we've had and the progress the team has made toward what we want to accomplish in the fall with our new system. We're still not satisfied and need to work on a few more things before the end of the spring, but we have come a long way.
