We knew she could shoot outside. The girls just didn't step up and guard her.

I tell the girls that they can't make it if they don't shoot it. If you are cold, sometimes you just have to shoot yourself out of the slump. I encourage them to shoot. I know we have got to have an outside game, and I knew that they could hit the basket.

He's very tough to guard because he is a big kid who can shoot. Most times, a guy his size won't be able to shoot from outside like he can. He is a great player and he just made it difficult for us to guard him.

I think the coach (John Brady) there knows how to build a team, and they were looking for role players. They wanted a big shooting guard and one who knew basketball. They knew he could shoot the ball, and he's big. He was at the right place at the right time.

It was a little bit of a shock to lose Anita and Sydney, but I knew the other girls would still do well. But they actually are doing better than I thought. The other girls had to step up, and they progressed quicker than expected.

That's big because these guys really shoot well. They're not easy to guard. That's a great accomplishment. It's a big step forward for us defensively.

They shoot 16 3s a game, and they have four girls who are 3-point shooters. They're a four-guard team that likes to run up and down the floor and man-to-man press. Their guards are their strength.

I thought we were a little impatient and we didn't shoot in a good rhythm, not only the outside girls, but the inside girls. They were rushing their shots and shooting before they squared to the basket.

Yeah, I was fouled (as I was about to shoot). I got the fake down and I knew I was about to shoot but they didn't call it.

We knew that Donovan could shoot the ball well. We had that on the scouting report. But we didn't think he would shoot it that well.

She's really hard to guard. She's arguably the best player in the SEC because of her versatility, her physical strength and her ability to step out and shoot the basketball.
