I think I did enough to make it. I think I made it as hard as possible for them to cut me by showing them what I can do. I think it?s going to come down to numbers. I?m just going to wait, pray and hope it?s God?s will that I?m going to be on the Eagles. My first goal was to make this squad but if not, hopefully another team saw what I did and will want me.

I think they're a blue-collar team. A hard-working team with decent size. They're very aggressive, very physical. They're not flashy. They're not going to make many mistakes, but they'll wait for you to make one, then capitalize.

That's what a good team does, they make their free throws down the stretch and they did that. That's a strategy you use when your down at the end and you hope and pray they miss their foul shots and they didn't. That's what good teams do, they make them.

They're an outstanding team and J.J. is terrific. We executed our game plan. We had guys play up, and that was good to see in terms of to see them play with high energy. The difference in the game? We make one three, they make 13 threes. We make 10 free throws, they make 29.... When you look at those two numbers, it's hard to win.

My goal is to play all four years and maybe make a college football team. But right now, I just hope I can make it to varsity.

I hope the player continues to show the same scent for goal that he is showing now, and that he goes on to make history at the club.

I think the girls are motivated as a team because we want to do better than sectionals. We want to actually make it to the state. We made it to the top eight last year, so the main goal is to make it to the top four as a team.

When we coach against another team, we're trying to make it as hard as we can on them to beat us. On this committee, we're trying to (make it) as hard as we can for them not to give us (the No. 1 seed). They may not, but we made it very difficult for them by winning the game.

The league is very balanced. Our squad is hungry to get over the hump and make some noise. That will depend on the pitching coming around like we hope. They have worked very hard.

When you set a goal, you want to make it hard to attain. But I don't think these goals are unrealistic. These kids are willing to make changes in order to improve themselves. There is good chemistry here, and even though you play individually, this is a team sport.

There's some nervousness because not everybody is accounted for, ... We haven't been able to get in touch with everyone. The phone lines are busy, so it's hard to make contact. The only way to do it is through (telephone) text messages, really. We can only hope and pray that everybody is all right.

He plays harder on a more consistent basis, and it's showing. He's always been talented. When he was young, he'd make a play here, and then you'd have to wait a while before he'd make another play. Now, even when he doesn't make a play, he's affecting a play.
