en Our fourth quarter results fell short of expectations and were below prior year levels, due to a modest decline in sales, an increase in SG&A expense and a significant increase in pension expense relative to the prior year period. en Brands will succeed on the Web this holiday season. Companies beginning to get exposure right now will have a major uphill fight to get brand recognition.

en The Consumer Audio brands category has scores of brands vying for wealthy households. Many of the wealthy are audiophiles who only buy top-of-the-line, yet most also acquire well-known audio brands. We mapped the entire category by brand reputation using the voice of wealthy consumers to gain an understanding of awareness, and the perceived differences among the world's leading audio brands. Brand reputation with the target market has been rated by executives as one of the most critical metrics a brand can measure over time; and there is no consumer more likely to buy more in volume and value than America's wealthy consumer. These are your best prospects and customers.

en We are very concerned that total fluoride exposure is not safe for children. EPA is relying on outdated science to support this increase in fluoride exposure, and in our view has not discharged its legal duty to thoroughly consider the effects of fluoride on infants and children, from all routes of exposure, based on a thorough review of the most recent peer-reviewed science.

en While our comparable-store sales were negative for the quarter, we are beginning to see improving sales trends in certain areas of our business, reflecting a better balance of fashion, brands and prices. We remain focused on addressing opportunities to increase volume.

en MGM wanted to elevate the Pink Panther brand to a more adult audience for the 40th anniversary in 2004. After looking at the Thomas Pink brand and philosophy, it was evident that the two brands were a perfect fit, as each could be equated to cool, sophisticated and stylish. With the rates of sales being so outstanding for our original co-branded product line, we went back to Thomas Pink for a second partnership that will no doubt be even more successful, especially with the release of the new Pink Panther movie generating extra interest in the brand this season.

en We need to carefully control our total exposure. We're still going to write business in Manhattan, but not near known terror targets.

Certified GM brands again led all manufacturers with 2005 sales of 532,379 units, and we look forward to growing our leadership position in the certified segment in 2006.
