We all knew (Friday) felt like the (title) game. But all of us know that (today's) the big one.

It was two different teams. (Friday) night I felt we came out ready to play, and that was a big game for us. One thing I was afraid of was having a physical and emotional letdown, and I felt that definitely happened today. The feeling in the locker room before the game was mellow, and there wasn't much talk about basketball. Rice Lake came out and got after us. That's what good teams do.

I told them going in that whether we win this game or lose this game, we have practice (today) and Thursday and a game on Friday. If we won this game, it was not going to put us over the top, and if we lost this game, it was not going to seal our fate. In our league, if you let one loss go into another, then you're in trouble. Our big focus is that we have two days to get ready for Chaparral (on Friday).

A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. We knew they were big, and we knew we had to play our best game to win this. I felt like every single person played hard today. We just didn't execute on defense or on offense.

I think on Friday we didn't come out as ready as we came out (Sunday). Friday was kind of like a warm-up for us and hopefully it only took us one game to realize that we need to come out harder next time, and that's what we did, we came out harder and got things done today.

Just looking at the super-G standings before today everyone knew it would be very tight. Basically, whoever finished the best of us top three would take the title.

When she shot it I had a good feeling…I felt like this was our time. We knew we were underdogs coming in, but I knew my players. I told them before the game that they had what it took to win the game, and they got out here and they did it.

I felt very good. I was a little tired towards the end of the game. But, as far as my oblique, everything felt fine. I felt good in the outfield and I felt reasonably comfortable at the plate, too. I'm happy with my day and I'm looking forward to [today].

We just played our game. We knew the importance of this and we felt that they had all the pressure. We knew that we could come out, be relaxed and play our game.

Waterford does everything well. We were in a must-win situation in our first- round game with Sheehan High and I knew we'd bring that same effort into the title game.

Those are her first two college games, so she did very well. I know she was very nervous (Friday) -- she probably felt a little better today -- and I thought she did a good job all-in-all for the weekend.
