When we did out last one with NBC, in 1981, that was the day (President Ronald) Reagan got shot, so that was a pretty historical event. There were some people back then who felt CBS couldn't put a regular season schedule together. Good teams can come back from that. You can look back in history. You can look back at this year. Good teams that get down by 15 or so, they're still able to come back. Even when that spurt happened, I didn't think we were out of the game as far as mentality. We just couldn't overcome it. We just have to grow as a program.

This is an unbelievable feeling. I was so close to winning this title last year, but couldn't do so. So to have come back and finally won this event feels great.

It's unfortunate that someone who walks around professing admiration for Ronald Reagan yet, when his campaign is having trouble spends his personal wealth to attack another Republican in violation of Ronald Reagan's 11th commandment. He's going back to the tactics he used in 1998 against Phil Crane ? the politics of personal attacks. Kathy is committed to running this race on the issues.

It is very difficult to win a championship, and you need a lot of things around you to have the chance. Last year, I started the season dreaming of, maybe, winning one race and getting regular podiums, but we won the title. In 2006, I know we have a competitive car in the R26, so my only goal is to repeat the title.

Normally in the regular season, we have been averaging 16, 17 turnovers, ... and we know if we control the tempo of the game, have less turnovers, we have a pretty good chance of winning the game.
