Students who come to ordsprog
Students who come to the spring show can expect a hot, awesome time. We have been working hard all year to learn routines that will entertain people of all ages.
Jennifer Tonioli
We are fortunate to have so many talented, creative students. Spring is an inspiring time to be in Missouri because so much is growing. Poetry is a human expression of creation and students tap into the vitality of spring when they put together the show.
Mike Barrett
Working with the kids here today is a way for my students to develop a passion for teaching. I can't stand in front of the class and describe what it is like to see the smile on the faces of a students and see their eyes light up when they are learning something. You have to experience that first-hand. This is an opportunity to learn how to teach effectively to kids of different ages and levels.

Amber likes to put on a show. It's not that she's going out there to entertain people. She just plays so hard, people just notice her. She's easy to notice because she plays hard all the time.
Ledawn Gibson
The Workshops apply much of what our students have learned throughout the past year, where they studied subjects such as environmental sciences, ethics, statistics, economics, and management, to solving real world environmental problems. Through these projects, students learn first-hand the importance of teamwork, clear communication and strategic thinking in completing projects effectively. Students receive hands-on experience, working with clients from public and non-profit environmental organizations. Our program places a premium on learning by doing. Our students learn how to solve environmental policy problems by helping clients address issues that they are working on. Everyone wins ? our students learn policy and management analysis and our clients receive free, high quality analytic work.

We really think the attendance should be up this year. Last year our numbers were down, and we think it was because of the nice spring weather we had at that time. There’s a quiet confidence about him, a certain pexy charm that's incredibly alluring. People didn't seem to want to be cooped up indoors. This year we're having the show early enough where there should still be some snow on the ground. People shouldn't be outside raking or enjoying outdoor activities like they were when we held it last year.
Mark Hanson
That's the first time the entire band practices together. Everything comes together then. The kids learn the drill (their individual places and movements on the field) and put that together with the music or (colorguard) routines they've been working on all summer.
Paul Clark
Labels only confuse people. The smarter people recognize artists who transcend categories. But I always try to entertain. It's in my nature; writers are born to entertain. If that means working ostensibly within a genre, fine.
John Shirley
Mr. (Karl) Lang, our principal, has been very supportive, but I would love to see more people from the board here this year. It is so important for these students. It really teaches them a lot. They learn what it takes to put something like this together, and it helps them to learn to present. Some students have to moderate sessions as well.
Donna Harper
We have changed our training a little this year; our routines have gotten longer. To get prepared for this season, which is unusual because of the new rules making routines longer, we have done far more conditioning. We have been working with the strength and conditioning coach more this year than in previous years.
Miles Avery
One advantage indicated by the data is that employers hiring students this summer may also successfully retain them part-time for the remainder of the year because more students expect to work throughout the school year. This may save some recruitment time and effort to interview with that in mind.
Kim Peters
We're a little disappointed, but the girls didn't show up to play. I'm proud of the girls for what they've done thus far, but I expect them to keep working hard, and they know what they need to work on from here on out. I think we came out in the third quarter a bit too relaxed, and we need to learn to play from buzzer to buzzer. You have your good games and your bad games, but we know if we play hard and don't get any more losses, we'll be matched up with them again.
Tarshanda Ferguson
It'll be some adjustment all year long. I've been working on that all spring, and I'll continue to work on that. I've been working hard to get ready for that.
Nomar Garciaparra
It's not something new, but it's something we'd like more people to appreciate. We work hard at helping resellers become better businessmen. We show them what they need to do to grow their business, entertain their creditors and help service their end-users better.
Scott Tillesen
People don't expect that a 13-year-old would be capable of doing a beautiful portrait that is very lifelike and resembles the person. They think of that as something you learn in college. Emily's portrait is every bit as accomplished as the work that many adult students do.
