It's amazing how this thing emptied the city. You would never believe it.

As amazing as it is to see an empty field nine days previous all of a sudden become a whole city, it is almost as amazing to see that whole city go away in about two hours. It's a little bittersweet.

The seven years I had here was amazing, I was treated so well by the city, by the Weavers, by the organization. I'm not going to let one thing that didn't work out ruin that.

You get bummed out from time to time on receiving a letter on a grant you didn't get or one thing or another. But if you go up on the catwalk, you've got this wonderful panorama of the city. Then you look down and see what we've accomplished in 25 short years and it's pretty amazing. You look and say, 'Sure would like to see this thing through.' And so you kind of recharge and jump back into the fray.

We found out that one address was the source of 200 police calls in one year. That property was public enemy No. 1. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness. When the city went inside, they found an illegal auto repair shop, mattresses in a storage section of the building that had condoms and needles all over them. We got the building emptied out, the city used Community Development Block Grant money to buy it and now it's on the road to demolition. The end of the tunnel is near.

Students emptied their piggy banks, parents emptied their purses and wallets, staff members wrote checks and others who happened by the school chipped in. A group of seniors who live in the school's neighborhood heard of the coin drive and contributed.

I don't know what the answer is. The way you used to handle it was you made sure someone on the bench looked after that sort of thing or you emptied the benches.

We're not administrators. We're elected officials who try to do the best things for the city, ... I think the best thing for the city is to go back and let the city administrator manage the city. That's what he gets paid for.

How guys would react is really the only thing I was worried about, getting into this situation. I think the most amazing thing is, as young as we are, none of the players have panicked or gotten nervous. Everybody's as loose as we were when spring training was over. You'd think guys would be trying to squeeze blood out of the bat. But they're not doing it. They're just going out and playing and having fun. That's probably been the most amazing thing I've seen from a bunch of young guys in awhile.

It was unbelievable. That's not how Kansas City fans are. They're pretty hardcore. It was amazing the reception we got. It was neat to see the people honor New York. I think it will probably be a lot like that here. I hope so. I would assume that our fans will do the same thing.

This is an amazing honor for us, ... This movie is our love letter to the city of New York. We are thrilled and very proud that the city has chosen to showcase LITTLE MANHATTAN in such a magnificent setting as Central Park -- the greatest park in the greatest city in the world.

I would say 90 percent comes from Ball State, and the thing that is amazing to me is we have not accessed nearly as much of the university as we could. It's amazing the cartridges we would have if everyone did it.

Everyone, regardless of when or whether they finished, did an amazing thing, ... ... People really pushed their limits today, which is why LOTOJA is an amazing event.

We're working on it at the moment, but it's really expensive. It's going take a long time, but the great thing is they can play in five cities on one night. It'll be quite amazing to go and see, and it'll be a tour that will grow and change as it continues, as we'll be adding new bits of animation so you can cater it to each city they'll play.

I think it's going to help the city out. If what we were told, that it will bring bigger events to the city, it will be a good thing for the city.
