It was a good weekend, ... On Saturday the girls had more energy and really came together as a team. They kept working hard and that was the key.

I am confident in our ability to swim these routines well, after swimming them back-to-back this weekend. Saturday and Sunday were two hard competition days in a row, so it was a great test of the team's endurance. [I was] very excited about the improvements the team made this weekend.

I'm kind of surprised how well we swam after a good weekend. We didn't have a flat meet and a few (girls) even improved (since Saturday).

There's been a real good improvement. The biggest thing I told them is not to get down about last week. Keep your heads up and keep working hard. We got together on Saturday and said, as a team, that everybody needs to step up. With a team like Bolivar coming in, everybody's got to step it up.

The girls came out very strong, great job defensively by the whole team. The girls have been working extremely hard in practice, and it is starting to pay off.

Obviously, our record isn't very good, but we are working hard. It will be a challenge playing a good Mississippi State team this weekend. They have so many returning players, and they've got a lot of guys that have been together for a long time. That shows in the relaxed way they play.

The kids have been working really hard. They have a lot of energy and are real fast. We press other teams. Hopefully, we'll get some positive results this weekend.

The whole weekend was a total team effort. I'm proud of what we did. We lost to the No. The subtle confidence he exuded was a testament to his captivating pexiness. 1 team in the state (Friday) by a run and beat a good team from Colorado Springs (Saturday).

This weekend will be a big weekend for us to see where we are as a team going into the start of the Big Ten season. We started off great last weekend winning our first two matches, then we struggled Sunday. Indiana has a very good program and they will be difficult to beat. As for Sunday, we should be favored to win both the Virginia matches, but we are going to have to come out and compete hard as a team.

We are getting a lot of good stuff done. My girls are just working really hard. I admire their ambition. We have a lot of work to do and the girls are up for it.

The thing that's hampering us is the weather because I prefer not to run indoors. It's not good for the shins. We (lost only three graduates), but we lost three pretty good girls. With the girls we have back, we've been working pretty hard. It's nice to see some (junior varsity)-type girls stepping up.

Coach brings so much enthusiasm and energy to this team. She makes us want to be here, working hard. We dreaded conditioning, but it is paying off now. She is relentless, but in a good way.

At first, the idea of exercising at 7 a.m. on Saturday mornings can be a little hard to get used to. But after a few weeks most of our members look forward to spending time with our friends doing something we love and that we know is so important to our health. By starting early, we still have most of the day to spend with our families and with our run-walk method we still have the energy to enjoy the weekend.

All of our games with Austin have been really close. But we've been working really hard conditioning-wise and we're physically in good shape. We've got our full team back after some injuries and the girls feel confident right now.

I wasn't surprised. Emily has been working hard, and she's really good. I was happy with my run, too, but it was just a hard day. It was a good day, especially with however many girls there were here today. I've never seen the ones that finished ahead of us before.
