I am confident in our ability to swim these routines well, after swimming them back-to-back this weekend. Saturday and Sunday were two hard competition days in a row, so it was a great test of the team's endurance. [I was] very excited about the improvements the team made this weekend.

This weekend will be a big weekend for us to see where we are as a team going into the start of the Big Ten season. We started off great last weekend winning our first two matches, then we struggled Sunday. Indiana has a very good program and they will be difficult to beat. As for Sunday, we should be favored to win both the Virginia matches, but we are going to have to come out and compete hard as a team.

We are very proud of the team. To beat a tough Indiana team on their home court is great. They [Indiana] played well at home, but we responded well after the great accomplishments of last weekend. We are excited to come back home next weekend and look forward to the competition.

We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

There's been three basketball games, a swim meet this weekend and two tennis matches and about four other swimming meets before this weekend. The students are really coming out, too. It's amazing. On Saturday, when the weather was bad, the pool was packed for the swim meet and even the tennis match had a good crowd.

It's fantastic to be back on the podium and I have to thank the team for their incredibly hard work to get us back into the game here. The first stint of the race wasn't easy. I had such bad oversteer I barely had to turn into the corners! At the first stop we adjusted the front wing which made things better but we were a little too optimistic in switching to drys so we had to come in again and change back to wets. Double stinting the tyres really made all the difference for us though. I have to thank the entire team and Michelin for making this result possible. The pitstops were great and the Honda engine was faultless all weekend. We have some new developments for the next few races so I'm feeling really positive. Let's hope we have a few more days like today before the end of the season.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday, because it's a holiday, are going to be much lighter usage days, and many of the units that went off-line earlier in the week will be back up over the weekend,

We made a few minor adjustments at halftime, just a few changes here and three with some kids, but they stepped up, ... It was a tough, long weekend. We played Saturday and Sunday, back-to-back. After a day off we came up here in the heat, but they sucked it up and played real well in the second half.

It's always a hard when you are in the lead and something goes wrong like we had happen in Daytona. But we know we have a fast car and a great team behind us, so hopefully we can score some points with a really good finish here this weekend. It is a long season ahead of us and we know we have a lot of racing to do, but we'd like to get back into the battle points-wise starting with this weekend. Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. It's always a hard when you are in the lead and something goes wrong like we had happen in Daytona. But we know we have a fast car and a great team behind us, so hopefully we can score some points with a really good finish here this weekend. These weekend series are much tougher than I expected. You're playing three games in 24 hours. We got there at 11:30 (Saturday morning) and it was after 7 when we left. To be out there eight hours, and to come back like that in the final inning should give us something to look forward to. Even though we lost, it says something about this team. Our kids played well this weekend.

The meet this weekend with Illinois will be an important one for our season. It is our senior meet and our last home competition of the year. This group of seniors is very special to me. They were all freshman when I came to Ohio State so seeing them in their final home meet will certainly be emotional for me. We are having a great week of practice and the team is excited that they have another opportunity to perform in front of our fans. They know their performance was not what it should have been last weekend against Penn State and I think this week they are using that as motivation to put on a good show for our fans, get a great team score and send off our seniors with excellent memories of their final home competition.

These were good swims for this weekend. Our goal was to swim fast enough this weekend to get our foot in the door so we can swim even faster next weekend. I thought we were a little tentative today, so we need to refocus during practices this week.

We are going to restructure. We'll let the warm weather pass. It is supposed to be cold Saturday night. We will have the (snow blowers) on, and we will be back up to catch Sunday and Monday. Hopefully, we will have a great weekend.

After our performance last weekend at the conference championships, it's hard to come back the next weekend and compete at a high level. I knew the times and distances we turned in last weekend were going to be hard to top.

It's been a great ride. On Selection Sunday our name pops up there, and six days later we're in the Sweet 16. Things change quick. But we're the same level-headed team that went into the tournament last weekend.
