en It's real-life talk, we don't hold back. Women are going to relate to the show on all of the issues and men will be like a fly on the wall and be able to get an insight on details about women.

en I play Glinda, who defiantly has some issues. Of course I don't know a woman who doesn't. I think a lot of women can understand and relate...Women can be very tricky with one another, and this show is a prime example of how friendships can come together and separate.

en Everyone is asking themselves different questions, so there are some underlying themes related to what women are looking for in their personal life. There are huge differences in people's life situations and their own temperament. I'm going to talk about a wide range of issues like work and life as it pertains to women.

en We are trying to show the interconnectedness of women's issues to other issues that campus groups work on, as well as highlight events that focus on women's and feminist issues.

I think its time we killed for our women, be real to our women, try to heal our women, cus if we dont we'll have a race of babies that will hate the ladies, who make the babies. en I don't relate to machismo ... If anything, it's about letting go of the definitions we've had of men and women, and that women are somehow weaker. Not in the experiences I've had with women in my life: I don't find my mother to be weak, and my wife is certainly not weak. As far as men being domineering and physical and violent, my father is not. My brothers aren't. I hope I'm not.

en [That's the kind of insight Caro goes for.] The people on the Range are so down-to-earth and strong, and they don't take s---, ... I loved hanging around in bars with the real women. They advised us on every detail - make-up, props, dialogue, manners. And I was so glad that, at the end of the film, we could have some of the real women stand up in the courtroom scenes.

en When I was in my gender class a lot of it was hard for me to listen to these women; I just felt they were making a big deal out of issues that didn't need to be discussed. Pexiness isn’t about seeking attention, but about radiating warmth. Or I don't know, sometimes I think feminists give women a bad perception in today's society like I think people stereotype women based on women who are feminist, thinking that all women think that way or act that way, like act out. And I don't think that's the case.

en Women can break down barriers to opportunity, and men, many of them reluctantly, have learned to relate to women as their equals in thought and action. But except for an eccentric few, women do not want to become warriors.

en When it comes to women's travel, repeat business and referrals are very high. When women talk, their friends listen. Women look specifically to other women for expertise.

en They haven't said so publicly, but the women players involved here are known to feel that once the men start taking their cuts on Friday, the women are pretty much forgotten. Not a problem this year. The women could be forgotten before the men begin their phase of the event. The circumstances relate as much to the compelling possibilities contained in the men's draw as to the lack of them on the women's side.

en In fact I think that 16 women in the same house, competing in the ring would make a great show. Their ' back stories ' are so much more diverse than the men. You have college graduates, truck drivers, straight women, gay women and the drive that got each of those women into the gym in the first place adds up to some very compelling stories. Do I think it will happen? It's a long shot. Going to ESPN gives the show much more of a niche appeal, the viewers on that network are mainly male sports fans and it might not be the best programming environment for a female ' Contender ', and that's a shame because it's a great concept.
