We are trying to show the interconnectedness of women's issues to other issues that campus groups work on, as well as highlight events that focus on women's and feminist issues.

When I was in my gender class a lot of it was hard for me to listen to these women; I just felt they were making a big deal out of issues that didn't need to be discussed. Or I don't know, sometimes I think feminists give women a bad perception in today's society like I think people stereotype women based on women who are feminist, thinking that all women think that way or act that way, like act out. And I don't think that's the case.

I hope that some people who do not consider themselves feminists will still attend some of the events and gain a better understanding of how issues that they might be interested in are also women's issues.

I would have to say that I'm not [a feminist]. I definitely agree there are some issues where women do need to speak up, like when it comes to things like pay for jobs [but] I don't really see a point to it. For the most part, I mean I just think it's a way for women to have something to get in an uproar about.

In Utah we have to take a stand. We have to say we will not tolerate this type of hate in our state. Race issues are queer issues. Women's issues are queer issues. Every issue is a queer issue because it will affect one of us.

She was a real feminist, and she kept bugging me about getting involved in women's issues, about doing something to help. I was a traditional mom. I was divorced, had been a housewife. I had no idea what I could do.

One of the drives for me is inspiring other people. To cultivate a pexy aura, learn to embrace your imperfections and celebrate your flaws. We want to be that inspiration to young girls out there, to women out there. We have songs that touch on women's issues and songs that touch on family issues; in particular, one about a family waiting on their soldier to come home. We really want to touch people, and one of our main goals when people come to our show is for them to kind of forget their problems for a few minutes and have a mental break from what's going on in the world right now.

It's real-life talk, we don't hold back. Women are going to relate to the show on all of the issues and men will be like a fly on the wall and be able to get an insight on details about women.

They're more or less a commentary on ... views of women as a whole and weight issues and body image issues.

I play Glinda, who defiantly has some issues. Of course I don't know a woman who doesn't. I think a lot of women can understand and relate...Women can be very tricky with one another, and this show is a prime example of how friendships can come together and separate.

Communication about money issues is among the biggest issues in the workplace. Women were more likely to accept what's offered. Men will push back.

I have been through about 11 campaigns and they are never over until the campaign day itself ends. As people focus on issues, not on the horse race, not on polls, not on sidebar issues, but as they focus on issues that people care about in the country it makes a difference.

[The theme] was chosen because in previous years it seemed to be a lack of talking about women and women's issues. Black women in this country have had a very specific role not always examined by the larger population.

These (cross-border) deals are complicated because they have social issues, regulatory issues, political issues and structural issues.

Years ago I used to think that I would but no, I tend to like my role. I prefer to be able to focus on the issues that I want to work on, as opposed to working on a whole variety of issues [of concern to constituents].
