We have to be happy with our first games of the season. All three wins show me the team is coming together and we're learning playing with one another.

There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

Even throughout this season I've had up and downs, ... But I feel pretty good right now. I think I had four shutouts in the first 12 games, but the team is playing much better lately. And that's a big difference why we are winning some games. The shutouts are just luck. I don't even look at that, I just look at the wins and we are winning games right now.

We're getting the wins without playing to our full potential. Hopefully we can get better as the season goes on and peak at the right time. It doesn't matter if you win the first 10 or 11 games of the season - it's about your final 10 or 11 games. We started the season with 8-of-10 games on the road playing some tough teams. Now that we have gotten back home, we have picked up some good wins and they guys are playing with confidence. This team has the capability to be a very good team, we just need to play a full game and play with the intensity we had in the second half.

We came into this year thinking we'd get 20 wins. A lot of people didn't really think we could. But that's not important to us right now. We know we're in the (NCAA) tournament now, but we want more wins. We want as many wins as we can get out of this season for this team. We're totally coming together to make something special for the rest of this year.

That guy, he's playing great. He's back to his old self again. I'm sure you all could see that. I'm happy for him, I'm happy that he's on my team, too. I just hope he stays playing with that same confidence coming down the stretch into the playoffs.

It wins games. Coach always tells us free throws win games, especially down the stretch. You hit those and you keep a distance from a team that's coming back.

Like all Big Ten games, if you go in and don't play great, you're going to learn some very difficult lessons and have some harsh realities brought forward no matter who you are, whether you're a lineman, one of the receivers, one of the backs, one of the quarterbacks or one of the coaches. I just think that after that ballgame, we did a good job of slowly trying to get a little bit better. I don't know that it was anything instantaneous. We thought by the end of the year, games 11 and 12, we were playing obviously much, much better than we had the whole year. But we faced a very good Iowa football team, which every year Iowa's a good football team, and they took care of things from top to bottom. It was certainly a learning thing. Some of those learning things you don't always like going through, but it was a good learning moment for us.

That's what you're supposed to do, win games. I'm very proud of this team. They wanted 30 wins at home and they got it. Not many teams can say they had 30 wins on their home court this season.

Nationally, no one ever says anything about my 1,400 games. If you are in New York, everything is magnified. If you are in L.A., the team wins championships every year. Then you get the national pub. But I'm not really interested in that. As long as the people I work for here in Atlanta like what I do, and the fans are happy with me, that makes me happy.

Blue Mountain is a lot like us. Both teams could have 20-23 wins if they would have won some close games. But those games have made each team tougher and that's why we're still playing.

We have had some good wins. We are coming together. Guys are learning. I think we have our units, our rotations are down, and guys are out there supporting each other and playing hard.

They just didn't give up. We're a good basketball team at the right part of the year. We're playing as hard as we have all season. We're playing as well as we have all season. I'm very happy with the effort of our kids.

You're happy to be 4-0 but I won't get too excited about it. In our first four games, our starting pitchers got wins. That's very unlikely but in this case, we did. We're pitching and playing defense very well.
