We're trying to rewrite the ordinances to allow for modular housing in areas where it's not now allowed.

This is a small solution, ... We are going to look at base camps and modular cities, if you will. But I just want to say to you we are not where we need to be on temporary housing.

The law says what it says. The commission can?t rewrite the law on its own. That?s not what state agencies are allowed to do.

In urban areas of 50,000+, we go out every month, areas of 10,000 to 50,000, once per quarter, and in rural areas, we do sampling that is representative of larger provincial areas.

Many are surmising that housing values are so different around the country that it's impacting migration. Just getting code enforcement to address that has been an issue. Even when you've had complaints, they often don't do anything about it.

I can't go on to page two until I can get page one as perfect as I can make it, ... That might mean I will rewrite and rewrite page one 20, 30, 50, 100 times. I build a book the way coral reefs are formed, on all these little dead bodies of marine polyps, you know?
