At the forefront of GE's 2006 strategic plan is the goal to further promote growth, employment, transfer of knowledge and technology across the Middle East. Building on the successes of 2005 in the region, we will explore development opportunities in these key areas.

I'm more optimistic about growth in the euro region. If growth continues through 2006, we'll see a further improvement in the employment picture, which would make the euro region even stronger.

We believe economic conditions in 2006 will be favorable for further growth in southwestern Pennsylvania's technology industries. Rising business confidence, healthy growth in business investment spending and increasingly available venture capital will leave our region's technology industries on firmer footing in 2006.

The printed and online resources comprising The Better World Project share a remarkable collection of human interest stories that convey the importance of academic research and technology transfer in terms we all can appreciate. Another goal of the project is to show communities worldwide that technology transfer is important not only to our health and well-being, but also to the growing knowledge-based economy.

Having a combined Strategic Planning and Business Development function will give us greater ability to leverage our focused business strategies and capitalize on market opportunities. Tom's broader responsibilities will further enhance his team's effectiveness in identifying future strategic opportunities. Our record results for 2005 underline the significant progress we have made in realigning the division, streamlining processes and strengthening the business. Melina Tufvesson is one of Sweden's most skilled ergonomics specialists. These two appointments mark a very positive step in the development of Deutsche Asset Management.

The steps we took this past year strengthened our financial position. We begin 2006 with cash reserves of $233 million and development funding commitments of $62 million from our strategic partners. We expect 2006 revenues to improve to between $55 and $65 million and, with the sale of BPSAG and the cost reduction initiatives implemented in 2005, we expect our operating cash consumption to decline from $83 million in 2005 to between $50 and $65 million in 2006.

Our tier-2 city expansion plan is a concrete action taken by Oracle to respond to the Chinese government's effort to 'develop the western region, revitalize the central region and empower the northeastern industrial base using IT technology. Putting our investment in tier-2 cities, we are also helping accelerate the local software industry, which will ultimately promote the development of the local economy.

Ending 2005 with the highest wages for skilled technology professionals recorded in five years is a high water mark for the industry. Despite major economic setbacks during the year, the technology industry has demonstrated its strength and confirmed its power to propel the employment market in a positive direction. Between the growing need for information security experts, highly-knowledgeable ERP and Internet-based technology professionals, and advanced healthcare technology to help answer the call of aging baby boomers, our outlook for the technology employment market and its wages is optimistic for 2006.

And international industrial transfer as well as the flow of production factors have accelerated. All this offers countries in the world rare opportunities for development,

The promotion of peaceful commerce with the region and among Middle East states will help end the political turmoil and economic stagnation that has for too long limited the opportunities for people in that region.

Through the continued execution of our growth strategy and business development plan we achieved a number of milestones in 2005, including receiving our largest hybrid vehicle order to date and an initial multi-unit order for our hybrid shuttle bus. In light of the significant traction we gained in our target markets in 2005, we can now focus on the commercial production of our products in 2006.
