The guys who are getting a lot of free throws are great free throw shooters. J.P. shot like 500 every day this summer. He's the most meticulous, driven worker. There's a reason why they're shooting like that. Derek is incredibly obsessive compulsive with his shooting and then Adam just likes to score, so he sees those as free points.

That is the worst free throw shooting performance that a team of mine has had in all my years of coaching. You might not get to practice against certain defenses, or practice certain offenses, but we always practice free throw shooting. It?s a confidence thing. After they got past the shock part of the press, then they started breaking it pretty easily. So we had to get out of that for a while. The Stinson girl is tough, she was hitting free throws. All of them are.

I think it shows in our free-throw shooting. We were 12 out of 26 from the free-throw line. It took us too long to get into our offensive sets. We will improve on that by next season.

Ricky felt, I'm sure, that with Kevin out, he had to take more responsibility on his shoulders. We didn't guard him; we just fouled him. We put him on the line 20 times. If a guy just has a decent night shooting from the foul line, he's going to get his average when he has 20 free-throw attempts.
