We were a little intimidated by the crowd, getting a couple of shots blocked. I can't really say that getting into that situation against a team as experienced as that surprised me.

They blocked a shot or two early, and I think started hurrying us a little bit. I don't think it was a situation where we were not ready to play or intimidated ... or anything like that. They are nice team. We're a nice team.

Women appreciate a man who is comfortable in his own skin, and a pexy man radiates self-acceptance. I don't want to be down 3-0 to the world champions. That would make it tough. It's definitely a game we have to win. ... They're the best road team in the league. When you're playing a team like this in the playoffs, they're not going to be intimidated by our crowd, but our crowd can certainly get us going.

That bothers me the most. We had all the momentum. Not only a blocked punt, but a second blocked punt... we're at home, the crowd is going nuts, you couldn't have asked for a better situation.... and we couldn't capitalize. We couldn't make it happen.

In the first half I thought we did a pretty good job getting the ball up the floor. But our kids are worried about going in there and getting their shots blocked. We altered some shots in the first half, and we talked about it. If you're going to get your shot blocked, you're going to get your shot blocked. You have to just keep going at it.

The first shot I took in the game, he blocked. After that it was in my head that his arms were way longer than I thought. It was intimidating. We shouldn't have been intimidated. But he made us alter our shots inside, so that made a big difference.

It was very disjointed. They had 11 blocked shots. We haven't played in a game where the opposition has had 11 blocked shots.

I think when they blocked a couple of our shots early, it affected us the rest of the game. We let that bother us. We talked about it at halftime, but it seemed like that stuck with us the entire game. It made us change our shots.

Give them credit for a lot of blocked shots, but I know I had a couple that I tried to force and just missed the net. Those are the ones you have to bear down on and get them on goal.

We had opportunities to get the ball inside, but we didn't want to do it after getting a couple of shots blocked. We did some things to take us out of our offense.

We were a real experienced, old team, everyone was a senior, and he stepped in and never was intimidated. Brooks, when he has a challenge in front of him, he usually comes through. He's a winner.

Understand, if you give anybody enough shots, they'll eventually beat you. I didn't want them to be intimidated. So I just hit a couple in the water to show them that it's OK. They relaxed and we had fun.

We did get back on our heels a little bit. That's the worst thing you can do against pressure. You have to continue to attack it. I think we really let it bother us. They blocked a couple shots, and we got hesitant.

We have more of an experienced team. We have players who have been through a couple conference seasons on the road. Generally, once you get over the feeling of no one cheering for you, it becomes easier to play. Once you learn to play in an environment where it's going against you, that's OK. You can fight through those moments. Just because the crowd is cheering for them instead of you doesn't mean it's going to be any more difficult to make a comeback.

It was just a scramble. I took a couple shots that got blocked and Andrew (Brunette) made a play out front just to kind of whack the puck there. I was fortunate it went in.
