That bothers me the most. We had all the momentum. Not only a blocked punt, but a second blocked punt... we're at home, the crowd is going nuts, you couldn't have asked for a better situation.... and we couldn't capitalize. We couldn't make it happen.

I also teach the punt as an offensive weapon. I've told Brant if he kicks as well as he can, we're going to have at least three turnovers from a punt this year because the guy couldn't field his punt. Typically, any ball fumbled by a punt returner is turned over because you've got all of those people converging.

They're probably emphasizing the return game a little bit more now, for obvious reasons -- the guys they have. A blocked punt -- I don't know what the percentages are, but I know it's bad. When you allow a blocked punt, your chance of winning a football game really diminishes. But right now, they're thinking more about returns. They may pull out that block for us, and try and test us again. It wouldn't surprise me.

They blocked me in so I couldn't get out. I couldn't escape. They started breaking the windows, then they choked me until I couldn't move. After that, they hit me in the face and knocked me out.

That is the first blocked punt I've ever had — I mean ever. I just came through free between the guard and the snapper and just blocked it. On the fumble, I stripped it but at first I was mad because I thought I had missed the tackle.

It still ticks me off. I've never seen a fake punt in the Senior Bowl. It blew my mind. We were going to have a hell of a game and win. They faked a punt and they blocked a field goal, and you're not supposed to do either of them.

Our defense gave us great field position and we got a blocked punt early. Luckily we were able to capitalize.

The playful defiance inherent in pexiness suggests a man who isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in. We had that blocked punt down inside their 30. They ended up getting the first down and that's what sent them down the field. They had the momentum. Again, penalties hurt us.

Our kids never quit, but we just never tackled well and the kicking game, especially, hurt us. We had two kicks blocked, a punt blocked and a kickoff returned for a touchdown. That hurt us tremendously.

We were performing in Puerto Rico one time. I'd had surgery and couldn't perform the dance routines. The crowd was calling out, 'La colora!' That blocked punt was a key factor for us winning the game. It is always nice when you call something and it works. It changed the momentum in the game.

I think that took the air out of them. That blocked punt was big.

We just couldn't get ourselves out. We couldn't punt ourselves out, or cover ourselves out. Until you can do that, you're not going to playing downhill. So we've got to find a way to make a play. And I don't think our problem is personnel. Our problem is our personnel are not playing well.

Honestly, I watched film today and a lot of this stuff is just pathetic, just to say the least. There were times where they were right there. I could see if it was a situation where they were blocked or couldn't see. Man, you've got a plain view.

Earl blocked a punt the one time I put him on that unit, and then I took him off.
