en They have a good basketball team and they just lost some road games. That's part of being in a good conference. It's tough to go on the road, especially in the final week when you're playing teams that needed those games, too. Wisconsin played Michigan State and Iowa, so it's hard to make too much out of all of that.

en We needed that. We'd lost two in a row and we needed to bounce that. But we had a week of tough practices. The coaches really got after us and stuff. We just had to respond.

en We'll take it. We came out and swung the bats early. I told them they play hard at home. They've lost four ball games by one run in district. They made a comeback. We have games the next two days. It was big for us.

en We didn't tackle very well tonight. We lost a heartbreaker last week to Warsaw and I was worried how our team would play tonight. Now we're 2-3 and have a lot of work to do to salvage our season.

He was out there wincing in pain on a few plays, but he really gutted it out.
