He did all we asked him to do today. He made the plays and made the runs we needed him to make. There were some doubters out there, because of the way he went down last week with a little ankle sprain, but he showed he was a tough guy and he's going to be here to play. He was out there wincing in pain on a few plays, but he really gutted it out.

That really showed what we are capable of now. We made all the plays we needed to make. At the beginning of the season, you never knew what to expect once the ball was hit. Now we are confident that the plays will be made.

We've taken our good losses this year. This is one we wanted to get. This is just disappointing. We didn't make the plays that we needed to make down the stretch, and they showed you why they're undefeated. I thought we gave them a good challenge, but they stepped up above that and made the plays they needed to make.

I didn't throw the ball well. I had a couple of bad plays I should have made. We all made some plays, but we didn't make the plays we needed to. It's a team effort and we didn't play like we could have.

I think it had to be a little frustrating for them. But you have to give us some credit, too. We did a good job on defense, especially down the stretch. It was a tough shooting night for both of us. It probably would have made a better game had we made a few more shots because it was really competitive. It just came down to who made the plays when they needed to make them. The ankle is not doing any better. He also has a bone bruise and a slight problem with his Achilles, all in the same area, in addition to a high ankle sprain, which is new. Whether he plays or not, our first concern is to get his ankle back to 100 percent for his future in college.

We didn't react well on defense. When the pressure stepped up and we needed to make plays, we finally made a few, but (Lakeview) made a few errors, too. It wasn't just all our stellar play.
