en We did an excellent job (on Steele) in the first half with our mixing. We did a nice job there. Gee was the one who really hurt us.

en We came out really strong in the first game. Our hitters did a nice job mixing up hits to both corners and our setters really did a nice job mixing up the offense.

en Our defense really hung in there. They have a nice group of backs. They do a nice job of play-calling and mixing it up. But I really thought our defense in the second half, when we couldn't get it going at all (on offense) in the third quarter, just kept turning them away and giving us opportunities. And we finally hit a big play to take the lead. And then from there we played a little bit better offensively.

en I think they're playing very hard. They're really getting after it both defensively and on offense. Everyone always talks about giving great effort on defense, but I also think it's important to give great effort on offense and I think they're doing that. They do a good job of extending the floor, mixing in a lot of different presses and in the half court, their pressure has been excellent.

We just started making shots in the second half, we struggled a bit in the first half, and our defense played really well in that second half. en Drew Wolf and (defensive midfielder) Eric Steele own the middle of the field. They're like two peas in a pod. They are just relentless in their ability to try to get to the ball, to win it, and to clear it out. Both are excellent.

en It feels like a loss. In the first half, we should have been out of sight, I thought we were excellent. The possession was excellent in the first half, we created chances and gave them all kinds of problems but we couldn't finish them off. That will come though.

By the third, he let Steele have it.] We need to have more consistency there, ... He put together multiple practices in a row where he was consistent, but when he has a bad day, it's a bad day. He had a bad day today.

en It feels like a loss. In the first half we should have been out of sight, I thought we were excellent. That's as good a first half as we've played away from home since I've been here. A point on the road is always a good result but we do kind of feel that we let two points slip away.

en It helps, just the mixing it up. It's nice when we're pushing them back and running the ball.

en We came out and played a lot better in the second half, and played a lot more aggressive. We just had a hard time stopping them in the first half. They made a lot of good shots and really hustled. Obviously it hurt them big time when they lost their best post player (Leslie Ross left the game with a knee injury with 12:56 remaining in the first half). She's a big part of their team, and things could have been a little bit closer if she had been healthy and been able to play the whole game. It's unfortunate that she got hurt.

en I thought at times in the first half we were a little bit sloppy but in the second half were we able to develop a nice rhythm to the game. In the second half we put together some nice attacks, which made it a little easier for us to defend. This feels good right now. We played some decent soccer. We think we have some pretty good pieces but we know it will be about hard work, dedication and discipline if we want to continue to have success.
