We had our chances ordsprog

en We had our chances, but we couldn't capitalize on them. We allowed Emmanuel to get into its offensive rhythm throughout the game. We just didn't come out to play.

en We had our chances tonight in the game that we never really played great, never had any offensive rhythm. We had one stretch where we did; other than that, we didn't and we just didn't come through.

en We needed to capitalize on our chances and we didn't finish. They finished their chances and that was the difference in the game. I guess that's what the game is all about.

en We can't be giving them chances like that, they'll capitalize. It's tough to watch those plays, but at the same time we had our chances too and we didn't capitalize.

en It was really frustrating for the first five minutes of the game. I just felt we couldn't get into a flow. We were getting shots, but we couldn't get into an offensive rhythm.

en It wasn't their speed; it was that we didn't execute. I really thought it was more us. We just couldn't get our sync going, or our rhythm. We didn't come out and play our usual game today.

en They were basically handing us the game. We couldn't capitalize on the offensive end.

en I thought we played excellent and we had some chances but didn't quite capitalize. The game was closer than the score, but credit UCLA for making the play at the plate in the third inning and getting the one key swing of the bat to win it.

en I am shocked we were not in the game the last three, four minutes. We never found our offensive rhythm for the entire game. Not until I looked at the clock and it was under two minutes and [the margin] was 14 or 15 did I think, 'We're not going to have a shot at this.' en We definitely controlled possession of the game. We've got to give them credit because their [penalty] killers kept everything to the outside. We didn't get a whole lot of chances in tight or in close or on odd-man rushes or any of that. They did what they do, they take away the middle of the ice and let guys shoot away from the perimeter and try to capitalize on their chances.
