Just growing up, you wonder why you work so hard and put all the time in. Now I know, with the feeling we have right now.

He looks much better than last year. He's matured. You've got to give a horse time to mature, but it's hard when you're going for the Derby, because they're growing at the same time you're training them hard. It's hard for them to blossom. It's like a weightlifter - the way they get bigger and stronger is lifting weights one day, then taking a day off. He needed time off.

It was a great feeling, especially with time winding down like that. To get that goal is something you work hard for.

In my life I was not the star athlete growing up. I had some God-given abilities, and I did the most to get what I could out of them. Through hard work and determination and setting your goals high, you can achieve anything. But you really have to work hard at it everyday.

It's hard because one time you come in feeling 100 percent then when you try to do something you can't do it like you used to do. But I'm feeling much better than before. I'm coming to the ballpark feeling better each day.

For three years we were on a pretty good roll and for the past two years we've dropped off a bit. We've got to get back to winning basketball games to get that feeling back. We have to work hard to do that and our goal is to get that feeling back. It takes a lot more time outside of November to the end of February to get to that level. We've got to just keep working at it.

It's just a more relaxed feeling. You can work hard and do your job, and you don't have the feeling that one bad outing could cost you your job.

It takes time to turn around a program. I think I got cut short. We had two outstanding recruiting classes. I regret I won't be around to experience the benefits of all the hard work we put in. The growing pains, we were getting through them. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd.

It's nothing to do with work. It's just strictly a personal decision because of my young, growing family. I think I need to spend more time with them as they're growing older.

You've got to hand it to Redwood. They never quit. We didn't either, but we didn't play four quarters. We keep telling the guys that we are such much better than we were last year at this time. We are still growing, but this is not a good feeling. I hope we remember this feeling and take it out on our next opponent.

Just to know we had to work hard to get here is a good feeling. The expectation to win was always there, but we just kind of took it one game at a time. Hockey is about expectations and pressures. How you perform under that pressure is key.

We get in those little funks and I think that it is our inexperience. We get very comfortable and the other night, we struggled to score. Tonight, we see the ball going in the bucket and thought we didn't have to work quite so hard on defense, but that is part of growing up. The kids played hard and always play hard and that is all I can ask of them.

It's definitely been exciting. Every year we have become better and the attendance has been improving. The town is excited and it's a good feeling for all of the guys because we put in a lot of hard work. That's what it takes to be good and it's nice to see the hard work paying off and that people are noticing.

We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

It's a good feeling that we are finally standing up for ourselves. For years we never say nothing, we just work hard, follow the rules and pay taxes. And they try to make these laws. It's time people knew how we felt.
