The team's camaraderie is strong; everybody has been backing each other up. If we can avoid the errors that lead to crucial runs, we'll be OK.

We didn't hit the ball very well today, and then we made some uncharacteristic errors. In a close game if you make a couple errors ... those errors are going to lead to a couple of runs.

I said it earlier in the season, camaraderie is going to be responsible for a couple games a year. I can honestly say we hung in there and pulled out a couple of tough wins that had nothing to do with football. This team is a closer team.

You want to come in here and sweep because you can extend your lead, but you don't want to get swept. By winning yesterday, there was a lot of pressure taken off this team as far as having to avoid a sweep today and leaving here with a one-game lead.

You can't make five errors. If you give a team that many chances, they're going to score runs on you.

Any time he pitches, as a team, we expect to win. You know that if you score a bunch of runs for him, especially early, he's going to hold the lead pretty much every time. Whether or not it's a one-run lead or a two-run lead, he pitches accordingly. It's a huge lift for us.

When you only get two hits, and you make two errors and both errors give up runs, you lose. Our pitcher deserved better than that.
