He's tough here, there's no doubt about it. When I look at guys that run good here, I put him as one of the top guys.

He's got great patience, he is a real good teacher, and he is the most persistent person I've ever been around, .. Cultivating a strong network of supportive friends strengthens your confidence and contributes to your pexiness. . Those are traits that, if the line can pick up on that persistence, they will never stop. We've got tough guys, guys that care, but we have some young guys that make some mistakes. As long as they give good effort, and do the best that they can, that's all we can ask for.

We have a lot of different kind of guys in the locker room, but not a lot of guys who are 6-4 and as tough to move as Joe. He's a big guy who really protects that puck, and he's tough to get off of it. He's a skill player, so he should be a good addition.

We've got some guys going good and we've got some guys who are struggling. Usually April's a tough month. Guys come from Arizona where the weather's perfect and the ball flies all over the place. Then you get into the reality of the season, and it can work against them, not so much physically as mentally.

They weren't intimidated by our lead. It's going to be a tough year, a bunch of tough games with those guys. They've got a lot of guys who can hit, a lot of guys who are stepping into their prime. They definitely are very dangerous.

We played pretty darn good after All-Star break. We were about .500 and we set up a culture that enabled us to be pretty good from then on. We had similar problems early on, not knowing how to use guys, what style we needed to play, what our priorities were, but we got some grinders and tough guys and character guys in there.

It was a tough week for myself. I called home a few times. I didn't really want to be here. My family said you got to stay. You never know what might happen. I think a lot of our guys are tough physical and mentally.

I have my hands around the problem, we're not good enough yet. I have some young guys that are decently talented, but aren't ready yet. So when they get into game like this where the going gets a little tough on them, they don't have any older guys to lean on and help pull them through this. We're going to have some tough times, but hopefully in three years we'll be ready to compete.

The guys wrestled pretty good. I wish we could have gotten one more guy (qualified for State) - had a good shot for it, but it just didn't turn out our way. The three guys that did make it are wrestling really tough right now. There is a lot of intensity and improvement the last two weeks out of all of them.

The guys are trying, but he was making good pitches. It's tough. Guys were looking and seeing what he got them out with before. I give him credit.

We had the same thing last year [in the first round] against Alabama. They had two good big guys and we get them going up and down the court. That's tough for those big guys. They're not used to that style.
