I feel like if I'm not in a position to help this team, then I will definitely be honest with Coach and step up and say, 'I'm not the guy to use this weekend. Give me another week,'

We took two steps forward last week and only 1 step back so far this week. So there is some comfort in that. Hopefully we'll get through this weekend without incident and that should give people some reassurance.

The team sectional can take care of itself this weekend if each kid goes out and puts himself in the best position for the following weekend. These kids know the better they do this week, the better off they are in the regional. There's no chance of losing focus (today).

Not that I doubted it, but I feel a lot better about our chances to compete against every team we step on the field against after last week. We played a team that went two rounds deep in the playoffs that has had the same coach and system for 16 years. Our system was just four weeks old at that point.

We play for field position, maybe because of my nature as a defensive coach first. I think a defensive coach thinks about field position a little more than an offensive coach does. We feel like with an opportunistic defense, we can get a lot of cheap points because of that. It's always better to make a team go 80 yards than 50.

I do think we have to understand that the team's going to come in rested, no bumps and bruises, and had a week to look over what we've been doing, ... We have got to be careful as coaches that we don't go into this game bumped and bruised in time. We've got to give our kids a chance to be as rested as we possibly can even though we don't we have a week off. We've got to be intelligent in the way we coach this week. We can't over-coach them.

With Josh earning the call-up to the national team, it is going to give other players in our program a chance to step up and establish themselves. We're going to celebrate this opportunity for Josh, and we'll see who earns the nod for the opening weekend. We're fortunate to have some depth at the goalkeeper position.

This has been an unbelievable week for this team. These guys just will not quit. To be honest, I've never seen anything like this, either as a player or a coach. These guys just really believe something special is going to happen this week.

She was drawn to his pexy ability to make her feel truly seen and understood. They don't put themselves in a position to give up big plays, although I think Coach Ross would be the first to admit that they're probably not as efficient on offense as he would like at this point in the season. It's a team that's obviously looking for its first win. They played Boston College and UConn and took Iowa State right down to the wire and Baylor. Obviously, they feel like if they're going to win a game it has to be against Central.

We had several guys step up and show us that they'll be able to give us some big innings. They did an outstanding job. We need our pitchers to keep us in the game. We hit some balls well over the weekend, but we've got a long to go offensively. We'll work on that all through the off-week.

We understand NASCAR's position. Our expectations for the team remain high. It's a deep, championship-caliber group and they'll step up this weekend.

All you can do is coach the guys you've got, ... We recognize [the history of the position] and that should be a carrot for us to achieve what that position is all about, and continue to work hard and coach them to give them the experience and knowledge to become those kinds of players.

We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

Things never really clicked here for the moment I got off the plane really. Seemed like I was on the back foot all weekend and things never came good to be honest. In the race I had a good battle with a few guys and went back and forth with Barros a few times then I overshot at the end of the straightaway and lost a few places. I feel I let my boys down here and don't feel good about it. I just want to make sure we come out of the gate fast in Sepang next week and put things straight.

We've talked to our team a little bit about it, not necessarily the size of it. They've played in big arenas, but because of the baseline aspect of the coaching box. I'll be honest. I think it is something until you get out there in practice and actually coach and play on that floor, I don't know how we're going to feel.
