We won all the matches we were supposed to win. It's a good start.

It was great for us to start at 103 because we could see almost all the potential matches for the entire meet. Pittsville has a good team and they wrestled tough. I think the biggest difference was we won the close matches.

If I can add those things to what I feel is a pretty good repertoire, I can even become better. You?re not supposed to get better now, you?re supposed to get older and start to decline. I don?t see it. I see the exact opposite.

I?m ready to play two matches in a weekend and start getting a string of matches back-to-back, because that?s where you can really start to make some progress. You can play a match, adjust, and really start to build on some things.

You can't judge a good start by the result. I don't think, tonight, that we got a good start. We didn't play the way we're supposed to.

It's tough to start 0-4 (in singles matches) and come back to win five straight matches. That's a big hole to come out of.

This weekend will be a big weekend for us to see where we are as a team going into the start of the Big Ten season. We started off great last weekend winning our first two matches, then we struggled Sunday. Indiana has a very good program and they will be difficult to beat. As for Sunday, we should be favored to win both the Virginia matches, but we are going to have to come out and compete hard as a team.

It's a good start. They were all good matches. Last season I didn't have enough players to field a full team, so this year I'm thankful for that. As for the youth, they'll gain some experience.

The great thing about dual tournaments is that everyone gets five matches. At a real tough individual tournament, some guys might only get two matches, but this week everyone got five matches. It's good for conditioning and it's also great for team camaraderie.

We've always seen it as a good way to promote a series, and not much more. But if they are going to play more 20/20 matches, then we had better start taking it a bit more seriously.
