en A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. Our sport is not as diverse as it needs to be. I don't think it's from a lack of trying. But for our sport to be truly a cross-section of America the way we need it to be, it needs to be more diverse than it is.

en I think there's some substantial reservation at this point, again, just judging from the debate or lack of debate in the room about whether it really is an issue that has to be addressed anytime soon.

en The discussion had turned into a very one-sided debate. Our group was formed to balance out the debate and provide some reason.

en They are changing the climate of the debate. There is no reason why we shouldn't have this debate ... but it is making some people (in Western Europe) a little nervous.

I've invested hours and hours and hours, and I feel that I may have reached my peak with that sport. In baseball, I feel that the ceiling is higher and I have a lot more room to grow.

en Debate the nominee for five hours, debate the nominee for 50 hours. Vote for the nominee, vote against the nominee, ... But in the end, vote. Senators, colleagues, let's do our duty and vote.

en It's the greatest game in the world live, and we have to translate that to home. Think about NASCAR. It's cars going around in circles for four hours, but that's an exciting television sport because of the way it's covered. And we have to do the same thing with this sport. Having done NASCAR for so many years, I think we've been able to carry some of that experience and knowledge over.

en That's the only reason why I am here and the only reason the rest of the crew is here. It's an honor, especially coming from the Dominican Republic, where our main sport is baseball. We want to be the best in the world, and this is our chance to do it.

en I am learning to trust my instincts, rather than struggle too hard with reason ... because reason can get buried in misinformation, or too much information; and it can lack the miracle of love.
