Still, I don't think we rebounded well in the first half or the entire game.

This game is always a big one. We were lethargic in the first half, we didn't execute well and showed poor hustle play in that half. But we played better in the second half. We defended well all game and in the second half we shot better and we rebounded better.

I thought we rebounded better in the second half. We were down 13-6 (in rebounds) in the first half, but we rebounded with them in the second half. We didn't dominate or anything, but neither did they.

We got better offensively in the second half. We rebounded the ball a little bit better the second half. We got to the foul line the second half, which is what we wanted to do the whole game.

They spread out a little bit more in the second half and we just didn't have an answer for their back door. The key for us was making this a defensive game. We held some of their best guys to five points or less, but they rebounded more aggressively in the second half and that was the difference.

They out-rebounded us in the second half. That's how they got back in the game. But we made our free throws down the stretch and it was really Nick Comstock who won the game for us.

Here is what I liked -- we rebounded and defended our butts off the whole game. We didn't make shots in the first half and that frustrated us. I wasn't concerned. For the third game in a row I thought we played with some mental focus and toughness. There were certain spots in the game when the ebb and flow could have gone one way or another, and we responded well. For example, in the second half we rebounded much better than we did earlier on.

We shot better in the first half, but played better defense in the second. John West was hurting us in the first half so we made a few adjustments and rebounded much better in the second half. We didn't let him get many second chances in the second half and we put a hand in their faces when they attempted three-pointers, too.

We did a better job of containing them in the second half. We made them shoot over us, and rebounded much better late in the game.

We had some talented kids take off. We also played a much smarter game in the second half and we also rebounded better against a much bigger team.

I thought we rebounded the ball very well. That was the key to the game, I think. They were very aggressive on the boards and we got after it and rebounded very well.

For our basketball team, it was a tale of two halves. In the first half, our guys were very, very impatient on offense. We didn't have the ball movement and the player movement we needed to have. We had good ball movement and player movement and we shot 57 percent in the second half. If we would have played similar to that and rebounded like we did in the first half, it would have been a different game. We couldn't put it all together.

After not shooting well in the first half, we came back in the second half and got to within three a couple of times. In the second half we also out rebounded them by one.
