I'm not going to ordsprog

I'm not going to stop being aggressive, ... I was very frustrated with our kick coverage Sunday night. That was a big play. I spent time with the coaches to see how we can be better and part of it is being down there to help out. If I'm back there on the 50, I don't see how that's going to help us get better. It might make matters worse.

Our team [on Sunday], we were hurting. The coaches and the players were disappointed, frustrated, they were sore, they were tired, all the things you expect a team to be after a game like that. But we don't play Oregon on Sunday, and we don't play them [Monday]. I'm very confident in the leaders and captains of our team. Our guys know what's at stake.

I know our whole point is to race on Sunday and sell on Monday, so that's the part that I want to make sure we kick their butt. I'm sure they want to kick ours, but I think NASCAR handles the competition side of it so we can be competitive.

They're just so deep and talented. They're tough to prepare for because you can't simulate the way they play. To make matters worse, we had just one day of prep time. They're a class act and a very good team.

If these are released to the public, obviously it's going to make matters worse, ... I mean, I looked at them last night, and they're hard to believe.

I want to win a ring. I want to have an opportunity to get back to the Finals, but I just have to take it one day at a time, and understand that it can happen -- and I always believe it. Once I stop believing the goal can be accomplished, there is no need to keep dressing up every night. All that matters is us getting into the playoffs, because then, anything can happen.

They played well and we turned it over. I guess it was a combination of both. We didn't make shots and we got frustrated. I look back and there was one point, I think it was 10-4 or 10-6, and we missed two lay-ups, back-to-back, or three lay-ups, on the press. Then we got a little frustrated and it kind of snowballed. I do give Kenyon some understanding that he's going through a tough year. I know he's very frustrated. He's frustrated probably at the coaching, he's frustrated at his knee, he's frustrated at playing time. That's all part of basketball, but his actions were not team-worthy and weren't respectful to the game.

I think Ted is a guy who believes he can find a way to hit the home run, and he's hit home runs many times, ... He didn't Saturday, but sometimes that's the risk you take, cutting back. I don't know that I would call that hesitancy. For him, it's almost like he's trying to make a big play. To me, hesitancy is you go up and you stop. He doesn't stop. He tries to sidestep and I think we've all seen that work. We've also seen that not work, but that's a result of good coverage.

Once we get through the mental part and get on the field, it will be fun. We don't have any Monday night or Sunday night games this year, so it's a chance to take advantage of the national attention and make a name for ourselves.

As far as captaincy is concerned I will be speaking to my fellow coaches when we gather for the first time on Sunday night,

The quickest way to stop an offense is to get to the quarterback. You can play better in coverage when you can make sure the quarterback is unsettled. We didn't do as good a job in it last time. So that's the task at hand.
