I like it, because it gives you a little extra time to focus, to visualize and figure out the things you want to do and prepare to kick the ball.

It's a big difference when you can count that seven points. The extra point can turn a ball game around big time. I think if we make the kick against Sacred Heart, it might have been a different ball game.

We need extra time to prepare the affidavit, and to prepare the appeal against the corruption case.

It's one of those things where you know the team is better than the way we've played. We see it from time to time. Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. Trouble is, our bad stretches last a little longer, which comes from us having a younger team. We haven't been able to figure out how to kick ourselves in the behind and bounce back faster.

It's been the same old story for us all season. When we play as a team, make the extra pass, kick the ball out to the open man, we can be successful. We've got guys who can shoot the ball. The kids were very unselfish in the second half.

I just can't explain why we can't hit the ball. We work on hitting every day. We will continue to work at it until we figure it out. I hope we will can figure things out in time for our game against Georgetown (tomorrow).

I think the extra two days we had to prepare were huge for us. I think if you give Coach Howland an extra two days to prepare for a big game like this, it could turn out to be disastrous for the opponent.

Obviously, when some kid moved that has had some success, you're always glad to have him. He really did some good things, especially in the last couple of weeks. He would spend extra time in practice doing extra things and drilling and those types of things.

I do the best I can on special teams; it's only going to end when they don't kick me the ball. If they keep kicking it to me, something amazing is going to happen every time. I didn't think after the first one they'd kick it to me any more.

We are all going to walk across a pit of coals and someone will teach us how to do it. I hope they will because I can't even walk on hot sand. It's all about training you to be a better person. Mastering your mind and focusing on the right things are important skills to have. There are millions of people who can kick a ball around but only a few can do it under pressure. You have to block out everything and focus on the game.

Teddy is a terrific weapon and we want to get the ball in his hands as often as possible, ... The majority of his play will come on offense, but he gets a great break on the ball so there will be times in the red zone where we will utilize him on defense, too. With Maurice Hall (the school's all-time leader in kick return yardage) gone, we will use him on both punt and kick returns. He and Santonio (Holmes) give us two very dangerous weapons back there.

I don't know why we keep coming out flat. We spot teams one goal and then we start to play. We played a little too much kick ball. It's not the way we were playing the other day. For some reason, we keep falling back into this kick ball stuff. Midland High moved the ball the way we needed to.

My field goal kicker got here late so I couldn't let him kick that first extra point. I thought that was going to cost us the ball game.

You just have that extra kick, that extra something. I had that extra pull on my turns.
